The following description is from an email message written by Steve Koleszar with some HTML markup added by myself (Bruno). Hopefully I didn't muck anything up.
TNT 98 returned to Charlottesville and was great fun for everyone involved. 25 people competed and 54 games were played. 15 people played 9 or more games. Dan Hawkins played in the most games with 14.
Dave Finberg and Mike Pustilnik demonstrated their superior play by finishing 1st and 2nd in both the 2 player and the multiplayer event. Dave won the multiplayer and Mike won the 2 player. Brian Sutton, Dan Strock, dave Platnik, and Justin Thompson Qualified for the final game.
Jake Jacoby won the sportsmanship plaque.
The Team Tournament was won by the Koleszar Plat. Luke came through in the clutch winning his last 3 games.
It was a pleasure to direct a tournament that runs itself. I hope to direct it again next year and welcome any suggestions.
